Again...JoJo's Photobox returns to Alaska. This is one of my favorite photos. It came out almost exactly as I expected it to which happens so very rarely. I took it on that infamous trip to Alaska in 1988. The glaciers fascinated me. They so overwhelmed everything. I had no idea how many I'd see so I wasted precious film at the beginning of the trip on glaciers that were miles and miles away before stumbling upon this one...Worthington Glacier. This was our first glimpse of it but we were able to go right up to its edge. And, even onto it. An amazing experience.
