I tried to keep score as I listened to the game on the radio while I was at the Texas softball game (where the Horns beat the Red Raiders 1-0) but it proved too difficult. For one thing, the sound system is so loud at the softball stadium that it's difficult to hear everything on the radio...things get drowned out. And, speaking of getting drowned out, the second thing: it started raining. I gave up. I did have enough of the game in my box that I was able to fill in a couple of holes in the box posted to the Tigers' page (like which Moore hit the homerun and which one hit the sac. fly).

Anyway, it seems clear in hindsight that Beau Hale should've started the game for Texas as he limited the Tigers to 2 hits and kept them scoreless after coming on in the 2nd inning. Of course, you don't know 'til they get in the field how the players will do.
