There were plenty of offensive highlights in tonight's disapointing loss. The leaders were Cox (who did a great job in the lead-off position to further cement his hold on it, going 3-for-5 with a walk, 3 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in) and Moore (who went 3-for-5 with a sacrifice fly, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in). Ironically (we are talking about the 1998 Longhorn team so irony plays a part in just about every game), Schumacher (who went 2-for-4 with 1 double, 1 homerun, and 3 runs batted in during yesterday's game) went 0-for-5 and was the only starter who failed to score a run (not to mention his 2 strikeouts in the 5th for the 1st and 2nd outs).
And so...
