Comments

I took the afternoon off with a couple of friends and went to the game. Don't worry, they won't be invited back after bringing such bad luck to the team. Ha!

It was really nice to see Starcich take the mound again and do such a good job for the last couple of innings of the game. I searched and searched for something else to highlight about the game and came up with little else. The team was just flat...especially at the plate. Hopefully, things will turn around in Lubbock this weekend.

By the way, I hadn't heard that Mike Scarborough had transferred to TCU. I'd been wondering what had happened to him and now I know.

    • During Silva's at bat, Huffman scored on a wild pitch.
