Comments

Once again, there's definitely something wrong with the box printed in the paper since Gann couldn't have hit Dunn (who did pitch but did not bat). I couldn't get away from the office and only listened to the game in spurts so have no idea how many batters Gann really did hit or who they might've been.

Moore had the play of the game when he stole home in the bottom of the 7th for the Horns' final run of the game. Weaver did a nice job in relief (getting his first win of the year) as he continues to improve after arthroscopic surgery last fall. Dunn came on in a surprise move (to me, at any rate) in the 8th with bases loaded and 2 outs to close the door. He got into a bit of trouble in the top of the 9th, though, and Kautsch came on to get his second save of the year. For Oral Roberts, the highlight was no doubt Mosher's two 2-run homers (one to rf and the other to lf).
