Sadly, there was no game. The reason? Rain. Rain. And, more rain. The weather was beautiful all week leading up to the game. The weather folks kept saying it would rain on Saturday, though. And, they proved to be right.
Lots of people showed up at the Disch, anyway. On the off-chance that the skies would let up. The mood was pretty festive. People walked around visiting with players...both alumni and guys on the current squad. The alumni happily signed autographs for the kids. It looked to me that most of the crowd was just taking the opportunity to visit as they waited for the basketball game against Oklahoma State to start 90 minutes later.
I bought an official program (watch the 1998 schedule page for opponent team profiles to start appearing in the next couple of days) and a copy of the roster for the game that would have been. So, here's the list of alumni who were listed on the roster:
