Comments

I listened to the game on the radio and kept score as I listened. The weather was better than last night (dry and in the 60's) but the wind was still blowing stiffly from left to right. Simpson hit another homerun (his 4th of the season) off the scoreboard into that wind. Texas' 6 hits came in two innings...good thing the team managed to group those hits together. It sounded like Adare had a great game. He went 8-1/3 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. French came on to close the game and earn his 9th save of the season. And, so...
