Comments
Speerstra pitched a great game...throwing 9 strikeouts, 0 walks (going
to 3 balls in the count only 4 times all day), and allowing only 4
base-runners. Johnson sprained his ankle in the bottom of the 6th and
will be out for about a week. Harkrider hit his first homerun of the
year to put the game out of reach in the 7th. Oh...and the weather was
rather miserable: the temperature bounced back-and-forth between 40
and 41 degrees F. and the wind blew in from cf or from lf to rf for
most of the game.
