Campus Watch #36

From yesterday's Campus Watch crime report:

Public Intoxication (Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center)
A non-UT subject, who was under the age of 21, was stopped after being observed attempting to open the door to a private suite before turning and running into the arena concourse wall. When asked for his identification, the subject handed the police officer a $20.00 bill and claimed it to be his identification. "Andrew Jackson" went on to state he had consumed 18 alcoholic beverages and begged to be let go to avoid facing another of many alcohol offenses. "Andrew Jackson" was found to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. Occurred on 01-27-06 at 8:05 PM.

Interesting that "Andrew Jackson" was not charged with attempted bribery of a public official or some such, eh?
