So, I bought an iPod a day or two after the new (larger hard drive) models were announced. As soon as I ordered it, I started ripping my CD collection onto my iMac's hard drive so I'd have plenty of songs to transfer to the iPod once it arrived. I think I had about 1,300 songs ready on that day. It's been great fun hearing songs and artists I hadn't thought about in years because their CDs were gathering dust while I'd listen to, for the most part, CDs I'd purchased within the last year. That's all changed. I've now got about 4,800 songs on my iPod. Way cool. I had it spinning a couple of days ago and heard "Lines Around Your Eyes" by Lucinda Williams. Man...I just love that song. And, I probably hadn't heard or thought about it in at least 4 years. 'Love my iPod! I heartily recommend getting one.
. . . . .
And on a completely unrelated note...
Overheard as I walked into my building this morning:
"We really just need to police each other."
This, from a couple of girls...probably 18 or 19 years old. And, that's all I heard. 'Wonder what they're up to that needs policing? Hmmm...
